Donations support our therapy horses who have medical, emotional and physical challenges and their care is costly. By contributing to our programs, you are enabling us to care for our horses, and continue to offer our programs, which are free of charge to veterans.

Beating a Different Drum to Wellness will be part of the sessions on April 6, May 18 & June 1.

Coming together in a healing drum circle is a fun, powerful way to connect and unwind. Drumming in community helps people feel more at ease, let go of self-judgment, and build meaningful connections. Research shows that drumming together can reduce stress and anxiety, ease pain and inflammation, and support overall health and wellness.

The goal of these drumming experiences is simple: find joy in making music together, connecting with others, and gently releasing what no longer serves you—supporting balance of mind, body, and spirit.

This project will enhance Forever Amber Acres’ existing equine-assisted mental health and wellness programs.

"This program showed me that I'm not alone, it helped me feel accepted. The horses helped me stay calm when I felt unstable.”

“When the horses came up to me, I felt accepted and elated. Before coming here I didn't have much hope, coming here has given it to me. I'm much calmer and not always on edge. Everyone is so inviting and welcoming."
